Are the new school-zone cameras issuing tickets yet?
Not yet. Aledo ISD installed them March 2026. Warning-only period runs through June 1. Real citations start with the new school year in August. Speed limit drops to 20 during posted hours — the cameras run 7:15–8:15 AM and 2:45–4:00 PM on school days.
