Parker County to weigh eastbound-only traffic on W Baggett and Holland avenues at July 13 hearing

The Parker County Commissioners' Court will hold a public hearing Monday, July 13, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. on the first floor of the Main Courthouse in Weatherford to take public comment on restricting two county roads to one-way, eastbound-only traffic, according to the county's published notice. The proposal would limit traffic to eastbound only on W Baggett Avenue — about 0.2 miles from College Street to FM 920 — and on Holland Avenue, roughly 0.18 miles along the same College Street–to–FM 920 stretch. The county says the hearing is being held under Section 251.152 of the Texas Transportation Code, and public input on the proposed traffic change is encouraged.
