United Way of Parker County launches long-term recovery program for April tornado survivors

United Way of Parker County has launched a long-term recovery program for residents still recovering from the April 25 EF-1 tornado, partnering with local agencies, churches and nonprofits, the Springtown Epigraph reports. Executive director Jana Snow said the group is bringing in case workers through a partnership with the United Methodist Committee on Relief to work directly with survivors on property, financial and health-related needs beyond what insurance covers.
