Decorated cars paraded down Main Street on Saturday, July 4 as residents lined the sidewalks for Springtown's Star-Spangled Bash marking America's 250th birthday, the Springtown Epigraph reports. The celebration continued at Cartwright Pavilion, where Mayor Mike Kelley told the crowd the nation's founders "understood something that is still true today: Freedom is not a spectator sport."
