Springtown crews working to repair major sewer line break near Walnut Creek

The City of Springtown is responding to a break in a major sewer transmission line located south of Walnut Creek Drive and west of Williams-Ward Drive, the city announced Thursday, June 11. Public Works crews are on site working to isolate the damaged section, establish a temporary bypass, and complete repairs as quickly as possible. The city says it is taking remediation measures to minimize impacts to Walnut Creek and protect the surrounding environment, and is coordinating with the appropriate regulatory agencies while monitoring conditions throughout the repair.
