DAR to dedicate America 250 Revolutionary War Patriots marker Saturday at Soldier Springs Park

The Weatherford Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will dedicate a Revolutionary War Patriots marker at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at the Veterans Memorial in Soldier Springs Park, 109 Thrush St. in Weatherford. The dedication is part of DAR's nationwide America 250 initiative marking the 250th anniversary of the United States; the Soldier Springs marker is listed in the national society's historic sites registry as a Spring 2026 dedication by the Weatherford Chapter, one of a series of America 250 Patriots markers placed across Texas.
